Role Description

The Mobile Response Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dudley. The officer will conduct scheduled and ad hoc mobile patrols, respond to alarms and incidents, and perform checks at our client sites. Daily tasks include monitoring and reporting security risks, completing detailed incident and activity reports, and ensuring premises are locked, secured and compliant with site procedures. The role involves liaising with clients, visitors and members of the public in a professional manner, providing a reassuring presence and excellent customer service. The Mobile Response Officer will also work closely with control room teams, follow escalation protocols, and support access control and front-of-house duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong situational awareness, risk assessment abilities, and incident response skills in mobile patrol and alarm attendance environments.
  • Effective communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with clients, colleagues and members of the public.
  • Ability to complete accurate written reports, maintain logs, and follow clear procedural and compliance guidelines.
  • Capability to work independently, manage time across multiple sites, and remain calm under pressure in fast-changing situations.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and willingness to work shifts, weekends and nights as required.
  • Relevant security accreditation or license (e.g., SIA or equivalent), and prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Basic IT literacy to use mobile devices, incident reporting systems and communication tools.
  • Commitment to professionalism, reliability and maintaining high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
