Salary: Β£16.53ph Plus Incentives
Hours: Full Time Permanent Contract (7am-7pm β 3 shifts per week including alternate weekends plus an on call weekend rota and 8 hours a week supernumerary time)

About Nightingale
Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The home, although purpose-built, has been made very homely, and has a selection of garden areas, in line with Jasmine\βs values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents.
Role Responsibilities of Team Leader
- You\βll be responsible for promoting our resident\βs independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing and to give input during shift handovers.
- Leading our team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care.
- Supporting our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
- Administering medication.
- Promoting our resident\βs choice, dignity and independence and all times.
Role Requirements of Team Leader
- Relevant Professional qualification (e.g., minimum level 3 in Health and Social Care).
- Minimum of one years\β experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential/nursing home setting.
- Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
- Full Driving Licence and own car.
- To ensure knowledge is gained to demonstrate a good understanding of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of the signs of abuse and procedures to follow in the event of an allegation of abuse.
- Live within 30 minutes of the home.
- Leadership and people skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with time management skills.
- A caring and nurturing attitude with a positive and enthusiastic outlook.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Prepared to take on extra training as required.
