About us
Nightingale House Hospice provides specialist palliative care services, completely free-of-charge, to patients and their families across a wide area stretching from Wrexham, Flintshire, and East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch. It costs over £5.6 million each year to run the Hospice, with only around 20% of funding provided through statutory sources. Supported by over 400 volunteers, our retail operation plays a vital role in helping us continue delivering compassionate care across our communities.
About the Role
Nightingale House Hospice is seeking an experienced Graphic Design Officer to work as part of our in-house Marketing and Communications Team. The postholder will produce high quality, engaging and impactful creative materials that bring the Nightingale House brand to life and support our work across fundraising, communications, retail, clinical services and the wider organisation.
The successful candidate will:
- Create engaging, high-quality designs for a wide variety of print and digital media, including campaigns, appeals, publications, newsletters, brochures, leaflets, posters, advertising, signage, event materials, email marketing, social media and website content.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Officer to create engaging visual content for social media, email marketing, digital advertising and other online platforms.
- Work closely with Fundraising colleagues to develop creative concepts and promotional materials for hospice campaigns, appeals, events and challenges.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Team to maintain an organised and accessible photography and visual asset library.
- Prepare artwork to the appropriate technical specifications for professional print and digital production.
- Keep up to date with relevant developments and emerging trends in graphic design and digital communications.
