We are looking for part-time support workers to join our team for evening shifts from 4pm - 10pm. Lufton College has 2 sites across 40 acres of beautiful countryside. We support young people and adults, between the age of 16 – 25, that have autism with additional learning needs and associated complex behaviours across day, 38 and 52 week placements. Our college aims to enrich and support students as they enter this important part of adulthood.

Due to growth, we are recruiting for Youth Support Workers to join our team. Our mission is to make extraordinary days, every day by giving our young people the skills and support to shine their brightest. No two days are ever the same and that is what makes this role exciting!

You might find yourself:

  • On cinema or theatre trips with the young people.
  • Visiting Longleat, Kingston Maurward animal park or National Trust properties.
  • Supporting our young people in the community with activities such as horse riding, swimming, bowling, running and shopping.
  • Supporting the young people in the gym teaching about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

You will work across Care, Education and Therapeutic services supporting each other’s practice. This is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with qualified professionals from across our multidisciplinary team and join an expanding, successful educational organisation. The young people that we care for come to us with a variety of needs and abilities. Our challenge is to help them build the hope, confidence, knowledge and skills to unlock their potential.
