Supported Living Service Lead – Watford
Salary: £32,432.40 per annum | Full-time | Permanent
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Service Lead to oversee two Supported Living services in Watford. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead dedicated teams, ensure high-quality care, and drive continuous improvement within CareTech Community Services.
About the Services
The Avenue – Supporting adults with learning disabilities in a welcoming, well-maintained service with spacious, nicely decorated flats and a large garden with patio. Staff and visitors benefit from free parking.
Mildred Avenue – A Supported Living service designed for individuals with complex needs, providing person-centred support to promote independence within the community.

Your Role
- Lead and direct the day-to-day management of both services.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff teams.
- Oversee support plans tailored to each individual’s needs and aspirations.
- Manage budgets, health & safety, and compliance requirements.
- Build strong relationships with service users, families, and external agencies.
- Drive service improvement and quality outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing a residential or supported living service.
- Strong knowledge of CQC frameworks and quality assurance.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to achieve).
- Resilient, compassionate leadership style with excellent communication skills.
- Passion for supporting vulnerable adults and delivering high safeguarding standards.
