About the role

  • Relief Support Worker
  • Full UK manual driving licence with access to own car.
  • Working across Norton Subcourse, Drayton, and Costessey.

As a Relief Support Worker, you’ll enjoy the freedom and flexibility to choose shifts that suit your lifestyle, ideal if you want varied experience, or need work that fits around personal commitments. You will work across our supported living homes in Norton Subcourse, Drayton, and Costessey, stepping in when additional cover is required, supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism to live fulfilling, independent lives.

Your day may include:

  • Supporting daily routines, promoting independence, and enabling new skills.
  • Providing personal care, medication support, and help around the home.
  • Supporting community involvement, outings, and hobbies that bring joy.
  • Being a consistent, reliable presence in different homes.

Relief Support Work is perfect if you’re seeking:

  • Full training & induction, including paid shadow shifts.
  • A route into permanent roles – many of our staff began as relief workers.

The hourly pay will be £12.26 per hour +12.07% AL uplift for each hour worked.

About You

You’ll also need to be:

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in different support settings.
  • Confident supporting people with varying levels of need.
  • A good communicator and team player.
  • A car driver (full UK licence) with own car.
