Relief Support Worker – £12.26 per hour

Location: Cleveland, Middlesborough and Redcar
FULL UK Manual Driving License and access to a car (due to some hard to get to locations) is Required
Flexible working across locations – whole shift in one place

You will need to be caring, ambitious, thoughtful and kind. Relief work offers ultimate flexibility – with no obligation to accept shifts you can fit your work around your personal commitments. Rather than accruing annual leave this is paid on top of your hourly rate as you work. About the Role:

  • Provide person‑centred care and support with daily living tasks
  • Assist with meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Encourage independence and engagement in activities
  • Support one gentleman to attend Middlesbrough home games (football fans welcome!)
  • Get involved in arts, crafts, and social activities
  • Provide varying levels of personal care

Shift Patterns:

Monday – Sunday: 09:00 – 23:00 (includes sleepover) & 07:00 – 09:00 the next day
Wednesday: 12:30 – 18:00
All other days: 15:00 – 19:00
Flexibility required to cover appointments and additional support needs

Requirements:

  • A caring and proactive attitude
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts across two locations
  • A driver with access to a car is preferred
