Location: North Dorset - covering Sherborne, Gillingham, Shaftesbury and surrounding villages

Salary: £12.86 - £13.08 per hour weekdays

  • Enhanced pay for weekends
  • Full-time, part-time, weekends available
  • Mileage paid at 45p per mile
  • Travel time between clients paid
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes required
  • £1000 welcome bonus - Full amount paid after successful completion of probation
  • Refer a friend scheme up to £300

About the role: As a Reablement Assistant, each day will be different. You will support people within their own homes to rebuild confidence and independence, and help them achieve their personal goals.

About you:

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant/Support Worker or similar role is preferred but not essential, as training and ongoing support will be provided.
  • A compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
  • A full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business purposes.
