HR Officer (Part-Time, Flexible)
Location: Home-Based, with occasional travel across Yorkshire.
Hours: 26 hours per week – we welcome applications for school hours, term-time, or other flexible arrangements
The full-time salary is £33,345 pro-rata salary of £23,119.20 for 26 hours.

We’re looking for a part-time HR Officer to support our operations in the Yorkshire region. This is a flexible role that can fit around family life, caring responsibilities, or part-time study – and one where your professional HR expertise will help transform lives.
About the Role
You will be the initial point of contact for operational HR matters and provide expert advice and support across the full HR lifecycle.
Your main duties will include:
- – Providing first-level advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, employment law, and employee relations
- – Supporting Locality Managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance issues
- – Monitoring sickness absence and coordinating Occupational Health referrals and return-to-work plans
- – Producing timely, accurate HR data and reports to support organisational planning and decision-making
- – Supporting projects and HR initiatives aligned to Dimensions’ mission and strategy
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- – Operational HR experience, ideally supporting managers across multiple sites
- – Strong knowledge of employment law and HR policy
- – Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- – Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- – A commitment to person-centred, inclusive, values-driven work
CIPD qualifications or progress toward them are welcomed but not essential.
