Deaf Services Ponderosa

Full time shift pattern – A shift starts at 8.00 / 9.00 in the morning until 10.00 / 11.00pm whereby a sleep-in rate is then paid until 7.00am. The shift then continues from 7.00am until 9.30am.

Requirements

Must hold a driving license and understand, or willingness to learn, BSL (British Sign Language).

Responsibilities

No day will be the same but amongst other things you will be responsible for providing support and care to each individual which includes such things as travel with the residents (use of the company car), care planning, meal planning, organising and facilitating social activities and maintaining the home.

You will be comfortable liaising with parents and professionals.
