Join Our Housing Support Team in Largs, Ayrshire – Make a Real Difference Every Day! We’re looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Female Support Practitioner to join our friendly 24-hour Housing Support service, providing dedicated, one-to-one support for a lady living in her own home. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to help someone live life to the fullest, supporting her independence, well-being, and personal growth.

This lovely lady has a zest for life and enjoys:

You’ll be right there with her—encouraging, supporting, and making sure she can enjoy the things that matter most to her.

What your role will involve:

  • Building a trusting, supportive relationship
  • Helping with daily living tasks such as personal care, housework, meal preparation, and medication
  • Working alongside her family and other professionals to ensure she gets the very best support
  • Promoting her independence and individuality in line with her Support Plan
  • Keeping accurate daily records and communicating effectively with colleagues and family

Working Hours: Our Largs Housing Support Service provides support 365 days a year, and we operate flexibly as a team on a rota basis. Shift hours are from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, with additional support occasionally required throughout the year for respite care. If you’re caring, enthusiastic, and ready to make every day meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.

Note: Sometimes the people we support need a male or female person to support them. For this particular role, a female colleague is required. This is an occupational requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.

Salary / Benefits: £12.60 to £12.81 per hour plus benefits.
