- Hours: up to 37.5 hours per week
- Contract type: Permanent
Compensation
- Pay: £13.04 and increasing to £13.48 after passing probation and obtaining a care certificate.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide service cover and support in all areas as required by the Service Manager, Area Team Leader and Team Leader
- Manage a team that has required competencies and capabilities to meet the needs and expectations of the people we support
- Be aware of the standards for delivering high quality services to the people we support
- Ensure confidentiality and effective governance including safeguarding protocols are followed in the services
- Provide high-quality care and support to people in the setting, including personal care, meal preparation, administering medication, support out in the community and housekeeping
- Build strong, positive relationships with people, promoting their independence and well-being
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure a safe, compassionate environment
- Effective communication both verbally and in writing
- Record and report any changes in the people we support’s needs or conditions
- Treat all colleagues with equal respect regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation
- Be aware of and comply with all Encompass policies and procedures
