Pay Rate: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour

Job Type: Part time

Shifts: 7-9am & 4-8pm Monday to Friday and block hours on weekends, additional hours available when supporting adults.

About the role: As a Children's Care Assistant, you will be mainly supporting children with complex needs with medication, personal care, meal prep, companionship and social support. Due to the limited number of hours available for the children's role, you would also be expected to support adults in their own homes.

About you: As a Children's Care Assistant, you will be able to show a high level of initiative and empathy when caring for children. You will also need to be able to communicate at all levels effectively and be able to recognise changes in your clients' needs.

To succeed in the role of a Children's Care Assistant you will have:

  • Driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Experience in any of the following areas is welcomed - PEG feeding, administering medication, epilepsy care, autism, non-verbal communication, and personal care
  • Comfortable supporting children in their own homes and speaking to families
  • Reliable and professional manner

We deliver a full range of services, from companionship and domestic support to personal care and complex care needs, always with a minimum of 1-hour calls to ensure our clients receive the time and support they deserve.
