A new exciting position has arisen for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner at Cambian Wing College, Bournemouth. Cambian Wing College is a specialist college for 16-25 year old young people with autism and complex needs, which offers both residential and day placements.

There is an established Clinical team on site, including Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, and Psychiatry. We offer the opportunity for professional development, multidisciplinary and multi-agency working as well as to be part of an innovative service that values each individual young person.

The main purpose of the role: As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will play a key role in shaping the futures of young people by using assessment and evidence-based approaches to support the emotional, cognitive, and behavioural development of the young people at Cambian Wing College. Your work will directly contribute to preparing them for adulthood and independent living, empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team (MDT) supporting young people directly through interventions, to build on their independence and resilience.

Qualifications: You must have either a Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity CBT with IAPT PWP status or an MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical) qualification to apply for this post.

Salary and Benefits: From £31,049 to £33,487 per year.
