The Service Cygnet Sedgley House and Cygnet Sedgley Lodge offer a 34-bed high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men with complex needs. The service is designed to provide an environment that promotes mental health recovery by focusing on space, personal privacy and dignity.
Residents We Support
- Men aged 18+
- Detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) or informal
- Primary diagnosis of mental illness with:
- Complex comorbidities
- Substance, drug and alcohol abuse
- Treatment resistance
- Behaviours that challenge
Your Day-to-Day
- Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support
- Prepare reports & other written materials
- Keep files & records as required
- Work co-operatively with all other members of the administration team to ensure the department runs smoothly
- Taking notes & minutes at meetings when required
- Answer the telephone & respond to all enquiries in a friendly, efficient manner
What we are looking for
- An experienced administrator used to liaising with customers/clients
- Organised, naturally helpful and a good multi-tasker
- Computer literate - including Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent
- Knowledgeable of telephone systems
- Polite, friendly & approachable with excellent communication skills
- GCSE Maths and English qualified, with a good level of numeracy and literacy
- Diligent & accurate, with an eye for detail and an understanding of confidentiality.
- Although it is a set shift pattern, we need flexibility to cover annual leave/sickness/training.
