What this role actually is
You’re not just working a section. You’re part of a team that keeps service flowing and standards high, even when it’s busy. From first orders through to the end of the night, the expectation is simple: consistent food, quick service, and no drop in quality.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing and cooking menu items to spec
- Keeping food quality, presentation and portioning consistent
- Working efficiently during busy service to keep tickets moving
- Communicating clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house
- Keeping your section clean, organised and ready to go
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
