Brighton i360 is not your average hospitality site - and this is not your average Duty Manager role. Right on Brighton’s seafront, i360 brings together a restaurant, bar, café, events space, private hires and visitor experience in one iconic destination. From busy daytime trade and sunset drinks to live events, private parties and packed summer weekends, this is a venue that never stands still.
We’re looking for a hands‑on, energetic Duty Manager who thrives in fast‑paced hospitality and knows how to keep standards high while creating a great atmosphere for both guests and team members. This is a role for someone who loves being in the middle of the action — leading shifts, supporting the team and making sure every service runs smoothly.
The Role
As Duty Manager, you’ll support the day‑to‑day operation across the venue, helping lead the floor and ensuring excellent guest experiences across all areas of the business. You'll be responsible for:
- Leading shifts across the Attraction, events spaces, restaurant, bar, café
- Supporting and motivating the team during busy services
- Maintaining high standards across service, cleanliness and operations
- Supporting labour control, stock management and daily procedures
- Handling guest queries and resolving issues confidently
- Ensuring compliance, licensing and health & safety standards are maintained
- Working closely with the senior management team to keep the venue running at its best
About You
You’ll already have experience in a busy hospitality/tourist environment and be confident leading teams in fast‑paced services. You might currently be a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor looking for your next challenge in a larger, more exciting venue. You’ll bring:
- Experience leading shifts in busy hospitality venues
- A hands‑on, positive and energetic approach
- Strong people and communication skills
- Confidence managing busy services and high‑volume trade
- High standards and strong attention to detail
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
Why i360?
Because this is hospitality with a sea view - and no two days are ever the same. You’ll get:
- £13.50 - £14.00 per hour + service charge
- Up to 50% discount on food and drink across all our awesome venues.
- Early access to your pay through Wagestream.
- £10,000 life assurance to support your loved ones if the worst happens.
- Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which provides consultation sessions on mental health, well‑being and finance, grants, and any other needed support.
- Deals and discounts with a wide range of businesses through our discount portal.
- Career development opportunities within Nightcap.
- The chance to work in one of Brighton’s most iconic venues.
- A unique beachfront working environment.
This is not a role for someone who wants to stand back and watch the shift happen. We need someone visible, proactive and ready to get stuck in - supporting the team, driving standards and helping create an atmosphere guests want to come back for. Ready to be part of one of Brighton’s biggest and boldest venues? We’d love to hear from you.
