The Sales Manager plays a key role in driving ticket sales, developing corporate proposals, and identifying new revenue opportunities to maximise growth and visitor engagement and corporate trade. This role involves a mix of proactive business development, relationship management, and sales strategy execution to increase corporate partnerships and ticket sales.
Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop two Sales Executives to deliver consistent sales performance. Set clear targets, priorities, and expectations for proactive sales activity. Monitor individual and team performance against sales targets and pipeline health. Provide regular coaching, feedback, and support to improve sales effectiveness. Foster a high-energy, commercially focused team culture.
- Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth: Develop and lead the corporate sales strategy to deliver revenue targets. Identify new commercial opportunities to drive incremental ticket and corporate sales. Analyse sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Ensure the team maintains a strong and consistent pipeline of new business opportunities. Work closely with internal teams to optimise pricing, packages, and sales propositions.
- Business Development & Partnerships: Develop strategic partnerships with corporate organisations, tourism partners, and local businesses. Identify and onboard new ticketing and distribution partners to generate incremental sales. Represent Brighton i360 at networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings. Strengthen relationships with corporate bookers, event organisers, and travel partners. Identify partnership opportunities that increase brand visibility and visitor numbers.
- Corporate & Group Sales: Oversee the delivery of corporate bookings, private events, and group experiences. Support the team in developing tailored proposals and packages for corporate clients. Ensure a seamless end-to-end booking journey for corporate and group customers. Identify opportunities to grow corporate bookings and repeat business.
- Collaboration & Marketing Alignment: Work closely with the marketing team to support campaigns targeting corporate clients and group bookings. Provide insight into sales trends and customer feedback to shape campaigns and offers. Support familiarisation trips (FAM trips) and industry networking opportunities that generate leads.
- Customer Engagement & Experience: Maintain high standards of customer experience across the corporate sales journey. Ensure enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently by the team. Gather client feedback to continuously improve the sales proposition and experience.

Qualifications

Experience using CRM systems to manage enquiries and track performance.
Desirable Skills & Experience: Knowledge of ticketing systems, booking platforms, and distribution channels. Experience working with marketing teams on B2B campaigns or lead generation.
