We're looking for a commercially driven Sales & Events Manager to help grow bookings, events and revenue across the brand. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in hospitality, loves live entertainment and knows how to turn enquiries into incredible nights out. You'll play a key role in bringing the party to life - driving corporate and private event bookings, building strong client relationships and helping more guests discover the unique energy of The Piano Works.
What you'll be doing
- Driving new business
- Proactively identifying and winning new business across corporate events, celebrations, Christmas parties and private hires
- Building relationships with event agencies, corporate clients, PA networks and key accounts
- Growing repeat business and long-term client relationships
- Spotting opportunities to maximise bookings, pre-sales and revenue
- Representing The Piano Works at networking events, showcases and industry events
- Bringing fresh ideas and commercial thinking to help grow one of London's most exciting live music brands
- Handling inbound and proactive enquiries and turning them into confirmed bookings
- Creating tailored proposals that showcase the unique live music experience and atmosphere of the brand
- Managing your pipeline from enquiry through to confirmation with strong follow-up and relationship building
- Helping clients create unforgettable nights for their teams, guests and celebrations
- Working towards sales targets and revenue goals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients throughout the booking journey
- Hosting site visits, tastings and client meetings
- Showcasing the energy, entertainment and versatility of the venues
- Delivering a standout client experience that drives repeat business and referrals
- Building relationships with clients who want something more exciting than a standard event space
- Collaborating with venue and operations teams to ensure events run smoothly
- Working closely with marketing on campaigns, seasonal activity and key sales periods
- Keeping CRM and booking systems updated with leads, bookings and client communication
- Feeding back customer insights, trends and opportunities to support continued commercial growth
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality sales, events, venue bookings or business development
- A proven track record of building relationships and driving revenue
- Experience managing corporate and private event enquiries from initial enquiry to confirmation
- A confident, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills
- Someone highly organised who can manage multiple enquiries and priorities
- Experience with Collins, SevenRooms, OpenTable, DesignMyNight or similar systems would be a strong advantage
- A passion for hospitality, nightlife, live music and creating memorable experiences
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, social and energetic environment
