Big venue. Big energy. Brighton seafront. Brighton i360 is not your average hospitality site - and this is not your average Deputy General Manager role. Right on Brighton's seafront, i360 brings together bars, restaurant and café trade, events, private hires and visitor experiences in one iconic beachfront destination. From busy daytime trade to packed summer weekends and large-scale events, this is a venue with serious pace, atmosphere and variety.

We're looking for a hands-on Deputy General Manager to support the day-to-day operation of the venue and help lead the team through busy services, events and high-volume trading periods. This is a role for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to bring energy, standards and strong leadership to the floor.

The Role

  • Supporting the day-to-day operation across the venue
  • Leading shifts and supporting busy services and events
  • Driving standards across service, operations and guest experience
  • Supporting labour control, stock management and daily procedures
  • Leading, motivating and developing the wider team
  • Maintaining licensing, compliance and health & safety standards
  • Supporting recruitment, training and team development
  • Helping create a positive, energetic and high-performing team culture
  • Stepping up to support the wider management team whenever needed

About You

You'll already have experience working in busy hospitality venues and be confident leading teams in fast-paced environments. You might currently be a Deputy General Manager or General Manager looking for your next challenge in a larger, more exciting venue. You'll bring:

  • Strong leadership experience within busy hospitality venues
  • Confidence managing high-volume services and busy trading periods
  • A hands-on, visible and energetic management style
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good operational awareness and organisational skills
  • Experience supporting labour, stock and daily controls
  • The ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
  • A passion for hospitality, nightlife and guest experience

Most importantly, you'll be the kind of manager who leads from the floor, supports the team and helps create the atmosphere that makes guests want to come back.

Why i360?

Because this is hospitality with a sea view - and no two days ever feel the same. You'll get:

  • Up to 45,000 salary + service charge and bonus potential
  • Up to 50% discount across all Nightcap venues
  • The opportunity to work in one of Brighton's most iconic venues
  • A unique beachfront working environment
  • Career progression opportunities within Nightcap
  • A fast-paced, high-energy role with loads of variety

This is not a role for someone who wants to stand back and watch the shift happen. We need someone visible, proactive and ready to get stuck in while helping lead one of Brighton's biggest and boldest hospitality venues. Ready to take the next step in your hospitality career? We'd love to hear from you.
