As Bar Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the bar operation - driving performance, leading your team, and delivering exceptional speed, quality, and atmosphere every shift. This is a role for someone who thrives on pace, takes pride in standards, and knows how to turn great service into strong commercial results.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving bar performance
- Driving revenue through strong operational execution and team performance
- Supporting delivery of site KPIs including sales, GP, and labour
- Identifying opportunities to increase spend per head and upsell effectively
- Maximising performance during peak trading and major sporting events
- Delivering service excellence
- Owning speed of service, particularly first drink moments
- Ensuring consistent drink quality and presentation
- Maintaining smooth, efficient operations during high-volume service
- Continuously reviewing and improving bar flow
- Leading and developing your team
- Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing bar team
- Setting clear expectations around speed, quality, and guest engagement
- Driving accountability and performance across bartenders and bar backs
- Building a team that reflects the energy and personality of the brand
- Owning standards and environment
- Maintaining exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and setup
- Ensuring bar layouts are optimised for efficiency and volume
