This role provides a rare opportunity to join a market-leading, privately owned UK business undergoing a significant finance transformation programme. This newly created R2R Manager position sits within a developing Finance Shared Service Centre and offers the chance to shape processes, build capability and drive best-in-class financial control across a complex multi-entity environment.

The Opportunity

  • Lead the end-to-end Record-to-Report function across multiple legal entities
  • Take ownership of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
  • Drive balance sheet integrity, financial controls and reporting excellence
  • Play a key role in the development of a newly established Finance Operations Centre
  • Influence process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner closely with senior finance stakeholders across Group Finance, FP&A, Tax and Operational Finance teams
  • Lead audit delivery and statutory reporting activities
  • Support finance transformation projects, process migrations and systems enhancements
  • Manage, coach and develop a growing team of finance professionals
  • Act as the go-to expert for technical accounting matters and complex accounting judgements

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (QBE candidates with relevant experience also considered)
  • Strong background within Financial / Management Accounting, Controllership or Record-to-Report environments
  • Experience operating in a multi-entity or group structure
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Proven ownership of month-end close and balance sheet processes
  • Previous experience leading or supervising finance teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience within shared services, finance operations or large corporate environments advantageous
