The Opportunity:
Nigel Wright Group is delighted to have been retained to lead the search for a Sales and Marketing Director for one of our key repeat clients. The organisation is a high growth North East headquartered group, operating in the UK volume B2B service sector. It operates with a multi-product offering and has further diversification into new markets planned. This is a strategic level role which will report into the C-suite board.
Role Profile:
- Owning, implementing and executing the group sales and marketing strategy to drive scale up revenue growth across multiple B2B service / product groups.
- Overarching responsibility for multiple high volume sales teams and the group marketing function, with a number of Heads of Department as direct reports.
- Involvement in the strategic planning for moving into new markets. Implementing and executing these plans and growing new divisional sales teams upon new market entry.
- Accountability for for the lead generation strategy and marketing machine and working closely on this with the Head of Marketing.
- Regular engagement with the c-suite and involvement with investor communications and reporting.
Person Specification:
- A track record of driving rapid growth in a volume B2B service sector sales environment.
- A strategic commercial leader comfortable engaging with and reporting to c-suite and investors.
- Experience of overseeing both sales and marketing functions would be preferred.
- Exposure to multiple product verticals and offerings.
- Leadership experience of both established and newly formed sales teams.
- Commutable to the North East HQ four days per week.
