Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a genuinely varied role where you can make a real impact? As they continue to expand, they are looking to appoint a People Advisor who will play a key role in supporting the business and shaping its people agenda. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this is a true generalist position offering broad exposure across the entire employee lifecycle. Working within a small, collaborative People team, you'll have the autonomy to manage your own workload while being involved in strategic initiatives that will influence the future direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to broaden their HR experience. You'll be involved in:
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers across the business.
- Managing a wide range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
- Supporting recruitment activities from attraction through to onboarding.
- Delivering and supporting Learning & Development initiatives.
- Assisting with organisational change projects, including TUPE processes where required.
- Reviewing and developing HR policies, procedures and people initiatives.
- Supporting the Head of HR with strategic HR projects as the business continues its growth journey.
You'll be an experienced HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a People Advisor or HR Advisor role.
- A background within professional services or another fast-paced, commercial environment.
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing cases independently.
- Experience supporting TUPE processes.
- Exposure to recruitment and Learning & Development activities.
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively within a small, supportive team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards it) would be advantageous.
