We’re delighted to be supporting our client, a fast paced, customer focused contact centre, as they look to recruit a Learning & Development Manager to lead, design, and deliver high impact learning initiatives across the business. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys shaping L&D strategy while also delivering engaging training sessions for employees and leaders. The successful candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, exceptional facilitation skills, and a passion for developing people at all levels.
The Learning & Development Manager will:
- Develop and own the organisation’s Learning & Development strategy
- Conduct training needs analyses across teams and roles
- Design blended learning solutions including workshops, coaching, virtual sessions, and e-learning
- Build learning frameworks for onboarding, leadership, performance and capability development
- Personally deliver high-quality, engaging training and leadership programmes
- Tailor content and delivery style to suit a variety of audiences and learning needs
- Coach managers to apply learning effectively in the workplace
- Oversee L&D programmes from concept through delivery, measurement, and evaluation
- Use data, feedback, and performance metrics to continuously improve learning
- Manage learning budgets and external training suppliers
- Partner with HR and senior leaders on talent development and succession planning
- Promote a strong learning culture across the organisation
- Support the delivery of business communications linked to Quality Service insights
Who we are looking for:
- Strong presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management capability
- Confident, credible, and engaging in front of groups
- Practical, commercial mindset with a focus on business outcomes
- Genuine passion for developing people and capability
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects
- Collaborative and approachable style
- Proven experience in a Learning & Development Manager (or similar) role
- Demonstrated experience delivering training, not just designing it
- Experience creating learning programmes for both individual contributors and leaders
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Coaching or facilitation certifications
- Experience in change management or organisational development
