Nigel Wright are exclusively working with Newcastle International Airport to support in seeking a proactive and commercially minded Customer Accounts & Billing Coordinator to join its growing Finance team.
This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes at one of the North East's most iconic organisations, supporting a diverse portfolio of customers ranging from major airlines and commercial partners to engineering contractors and training clients.

Key Responsibilities
As part of the Finance team, you'll play a key role in managing customer accounts, resolving billing queries and supporting debt recovery activities across a complex and varied commercial environment.
Working closely with both internal departments and external customers, you'll investigate account discrepancies, identify the root cause of issues and ensure accurate information is maintained across finance systems.

- Managing and resolving customer account and invoice queries.
- Building strong working relationships with operational teams and commercial stakeholders.
- Contacting customers by telephone and email to collect outstanding payments and resolve account issues.
- Maintaining accurate customer and debtor records within the finance system.
- Issuing customer statements, reminders and supporting documentation.
- Investigating complex billing arrangements and identifying solutions to account challenges.
- Supporting process improvements and helping enhance data quality across customer accounts.
- Supporting wider finance activities and projects as required.
