The Opportunity

The Senior Insight Analyst will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business, with a particular focus on driving data-led decision making across a newly acquired international operation.

Reporting into the central data function, the role will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful management information and actionable insights, enabling stakeholders to better understand performance, identify opportunities and support strategic decision making.

The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders both in the UK and Ireland, helping to establish and develop analytical capabilities within the Dublin operation.

Leveraging a newly centralised data warehouse, the role will focus on building reporting frameworks, developing insight solutions and promoting a data-driven culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Insight & Analytics
  • Develop and deliver insightful reporting and dashboards using Power BI
  • Analyse business performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
  • Support the development of a data-driven decision-making culture
  • Drive adoption and usage of management information across the business
  • Reporting & Business Intelligence
  • Design, build and maintain operational and strategic reporting solutions
  • Work with data held within a centralised data warehouse environment
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent and aligned to business requirements
  • Develop KPI frameworks and performance measurement capabilities
  • Improve reporting processes and enhance data accessibility across teams
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the UK and Ireland
  • Gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor on reporting, analytics and performance measurement
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Build strong relationships across multiple business functions
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes and insight generation
  • Support ongoing development of the organisation's analytics capability
  • Promote best practice in reporting, visualisation and data analysis
  • Contribute to the evolution of the wider data and analytics function

Experience

  • Proven experience in an analytics, business intelligence or insight-focused role
  • Strong experience developing reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience querying large datasets
  • Experience working closely with business stakeholders to deliver insight-led solutions
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, performance reporting and commercial analytics
  • Experience working within a centralised data warehouse environment beneficial
  • Experience supporting business transformation, acquisitions or change programmes desirable

  • Salary/Working Pattern

The role offers a salary of up to £50,000 which comes in addition to an excellent benefits package that includes substantially discounted childcare, enhanced maternity / paternity leave , 25 days holiday + birthday, employee assistance programme and more.

The role will be based out of the business's Altrincham office, with sporadic trips over to Ireland where needed with sufficient notice.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern of 2-3 days in the office where needed.
