The Opportunity: Nigel Wright Group is delighted to have been retained by a high-growth repeat client, that provides goods not for resale, to large corporate FMCG clients. This is an exciting opportunity to manage high profile clients in the Nordics. The role will be UK based and would suit someone based within easy access of Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh or Heathrow Airports. There will be regular travel to spend face-to-face time with key clients. The pattern would likely be travel Monday morning, come back Friday morning, 2 of 4 weeks some months, and occasionally 3 of 4 weeks some months. This is a rare opportunity to develop international commercial experience and would suit someone on the upward trajectory, perhaps circa 5 years into their commercial career.

Role Profile:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of B2B clients acting as their main point of contact for all their procurement needs across the range of SKUs that are provided to them.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders at client organisations.
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement processes on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and value for money (this will involve having onsite access to their procurement and stock ordering systems).
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and contribute to new business development.
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity, orders, and communications using CRM systems.
  • Represent the Company professionally at client sites, meetings, and industry events across Europe.

Person Specification:

  • A background in B2B account management or client-facing sales, with a track record of maintaining and growing commercial relationships.
  • The ability to work well with data, stock and ordering volumes. Some experience liaising with clients around volume ordering from their procurement/supply chain teams would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable with a travel-heavy schedule as outlined above.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to operate at a senior stakeholder level.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
