The Business: Nigel Wright are delighted to be working with an agency in the heart of the North East, specialising in comms, creative and brand. Industry leading and at the forefront of creative communications you will be expected to make a difference and deliver great team performance, alongside excelling in client comms and business development.
The Role:
- Leading and developing a small team of PR/comms colleagues
- Creation and delivery of effective PR campaigns
- Providing clients with timely strategic advice and guidance (B2B and B2C sectors)
- Spotting/creating business development opportunities with existing or potential clients
- Creating regular thought leadership insights
- Lead/support with pitches and new proposal work
- Negotiating good outcomes whether commercial, creative or interpersonal
The Person: You will be able to navigate challenging client communications and demonstrate experience in handling sensitive situations, such as planning issues or clients facing scrutiny. As well as being a well-rounded candidate who can navigate sensitive situations with confidence, especially during uncertain times for clients and their businesses. You will show tenacity, resilience and passion for the team, agency and future business. You will be adaptable and able to transition the agency from traditional marketing to brand focused. Whilst you will be working across multiple projects and marketing disciplines on a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to bring forward a wealth of PR/Comms experience as this will be the core driver of the business. This is a hybrid role, and will present progression opportunities and future career development - A commercially savvy and results driven individual will excel in this role.
