The Opportunity
Nigel Wright Group is delighted to have been retained by a growing industrial client, to lead the search for a General Manager for its multi-site UK business.
The Company manufactures, operates a distribution network, and also provides installations and aftermarket products and services.
It operates on a multi revenue stream basis in the UK and is a highly autonomous subsidiary of a larger group.
This will be a highly autonomous and strategic role and the scale of the UK operation in the SME zone.
Role Profile
- Reviewing the structure and operating model of the UK business, to streamline the cost base and improve the overall business operating margins.
- Oversee all business functions across, operations, sales, and support functions.
- Working with the sales function to define the commercial strategy for growth, with a focus on driving the higher margin revenue streams.
- Strategic account management of key account OEM customers.

- A B2B industrial sector background (could be industrial products or industrial services, or a mix).
- Evidence of driving growth in an aftermarket revenue stream.
- Strong appreciation of operations, finance and commercial.
