Nigel Wright Group is delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, international provider of managed offshoring and outsourcing solutions. This people-focused business is transforming how organisations across construction, engineering, manufacturing, and technology sectors scale their operations through dedicated offshore staffing.

As part of its UK expansion, the company is now seeking a UK Business Development Manager to join its commercial team and lead growth efforts in the region.

This is the company’s first UK-based commercial hire, making it a unique opportunity to shape the go-to-market strategy and build a strong local presence. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and consultative sales professional with a passion for solution selling. You’ll play a pivotal role in engaging UK-based businesses, understanding their operational needs, and delivering tailored offshore staffing solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support long-term growth.

You’ll be supported by a highly experienced team in Australia and the Philippines and whilst the role is remote, you’ll have regular contact with the Head of Growth and CEO and will be expected to operate autonomously with a high degree of initiative and professionalism.

Role Profile

  • Respond to warm inbound leads and proactively generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting and networking.
  • Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments with prospective clients to understand their business structure, challenges, and staffing needs.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers across multiple sectors, including construction, engineering, manufacturing, and IT.
  • Write and present tailored proposals that align with client needs and demonstrate ROI.
  • Collaborate with offshore recruitment and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the company’s values and culture in all client interactions, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline visibility, providing regular updates to leadership.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new clients into the offshoring model, ensuring a smooth transition and long-term success.

Person Specification

  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in professional services, recruitment, or outsourcing.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to adapt across industries and engage at C-suite level.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and professional demeanour.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Experience selling into sectors such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, or IT (preferred).
  • Comfortable with proposal writing, client presentations, and contract negotiation.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
  • Ability to travel within the UK as required.
