Role: An opportunity has arisen for a Web Developer to join a growing engineering team responsible for a portfolio of high-traffic digital platforms. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining web applications, working across both back-end and front-end technologies. The environment is highly collaborative, with close interaction between engineering, product, and wider business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining web applications using PHP (Laravel)
  • Building responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end technologies
  • Designing and optimising databases for performance and scalability
  • Integrating third-party APIs and internal systems
  • Deploying and managing applications in a cloud (AWS) environment
  • Monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring security best practice
  • Contributing to technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • A good understanding of performance, scalability, and secure development
