We are very happy to be supporting them in their search for a strong and collaborative Health & Safety Manager to support and further develop performance across their sites.
The Health & Safety Manager is a key role responsible for leading health, safety and environmental activity across 3 locations. Working closely with senior leadership, you will drive a strong safety culture and ensure consistent standards across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting and maintaining high HSE standards across sites
- Providing practical guidance and support to operational teams
- Leading audits, inspections and incident investigations
- Monitoring performance and implementing continuous improvements
- Supporting compliance and engaging with relevant external bodies
This is a visible, hands-on role with frequent site-to-site travel.
About You:
We are looking for an engaging and pragmatic HSE professional who can influence at all levels and build strong working relationships. You will ideally have:
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing or similarly hands-on environments
- A NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
- A solid understanding of HSE legislation and best practice
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- The ability to drive improvements in a practical, solutions-focused way
- Able to travel (northern UK), and hold a full UK Drivers License
