Our client is a well-established, multi-site industrial business with a strong operational footprint and clear commitment to high HSE standards. We are very happy to be supporting them in their search for a strong and collaborative Health & Safety Manager to support and further develop performance across their sites.

The Health & Safety Manager is a key role responsible for leading health, safety and environmental activity across 3 locations. Working closely with senior leadership, you will drive a strong safety culture and ensure consistent standards across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and maintaining high HSE standards across sites
  • Providing practical guidance and support to operational teams
  • Leading audits, inspections and incident investigations
  • Monitoring performance and implementing continuous improvements
  • Supporting compliance and engaging with relevant external bodies

This is a visible, hands-on role with frequent site-to-site travel.

About You:

We are looking for an engaging and pragmatic HSE professional who can influence at all levels and build strong working relationships. You will ideally have:

  • Experience within industrial, manufacturing or similarly hands-on environments
  • A NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
  • A solid understanding of HSE legislation and best practice
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • The ability to drive improvements in a practical, solutions-focused way
  • Able to travel (northern UK), and hold a full UK Drivers License
