Job Description The Job An Accountant will be hired for a 6 month period initially. This is a part time role 25-30 hours per week to work remotely. Candidates must be North East based and be able to attend occasional meetings in the local office. Key Areas: Support the Finance Team lead with day to day accounting and financial administration Review invoices, prepare payments and complete reconciliations Liaise with stakeholders to track expenditure and project costs Support budget monitoring and budget v actual reporting Cashflow monitoring Liaise with external accountants Invoice review and payment reconciliation Budget monitoring and forecasting The business A UK entity providing services to private clients About You You will likely be a Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent Qualified by Experience candidates will be considered with relevant experience Have up to 10 years of experience in a mid level finance position Able to work independently Confident with managing payments and banking processes Able to build relationships with all stakeholders both finance and non finance Have confidentiality and discretion
