We are delighted to be working with a prestigious, market-leading engineering business, recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join their highly experienced Project Management team. This role will be based at their site in Tyne and Wear, which includes a manufacturing facility.
As an experienced Senior Project Manager, you will lead multi-million-pound projects for key UK clients, acting as the single point of contact throughout the lifecycle of the project. This will consist of regular client management, outage planning, delivery and close out throughout the lifetime of the project. Travel will be expected to visit Customers' sites in the UK. The role will be predominately based in our Tyne and Wear office with flexible working when required.
In this role you will be expected to ensure the project is managed efficiently with a heavy focus on Time, Cost, Quality and most importantly Safety. Be involved in and occasionally lead technical discussions. If you are a proven project manager with a passion for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, then this role is for you.

You Bring:
- Minimum seven years of experience in engineering project delivery
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multidisciplinary projects
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience (e.g., NEC, FIDIC)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset
- High level of integrity, accountability, and resilience
- Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands and environments
