A well-established and growing professional services business is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their central finance function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and collaborative team, playing a key role in delivering an efficient and high-quality accounts payable service across the wider organisation.
As the Senior Accounts Payable Clerk you will take ownership of key supplier relationships and support the day-to-day running of the accounts payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time. Acting as a senior member of the team, you will also support colleagues with more complex queries and contribute to ongoing improvements in processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing a portfolio of key suppliers, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and payments
- Acting as a main point of contact for supplier queries, building strong working relationships
- Completing regular supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting the wider AP team with queries and escalations
- Assisting with month-end activities and reconciliations
