The Role
In this role you will undertake a variety of tasks, including:
- Data loading and ETL
- Working with complex data structures
- Writing queries/stored procedures
- Optimising queries and tables
- Producing reports
- Creating workflows
Other responsibilities include:
- Standard SQL tasks such as table design, query creation, etc.
- Ensuring the accuracy, integrity and security of data
- Creating ETL workflows to process large datasets, in a variety of formats
- Troubleshooting database performance issues using tools such as Redgate SQL Monitor, SSMS query store
- Designing and delivering reports on big datasets
The Requirements
Key Requirements include:
- Experience of designing and implementing solutions which involve big datasets
- Strong SQL/T-SQL experience
- Ability to analyse and understand complex data structures
- Experience in writing and troubleshooting complex queries, stored procedures, functions, etc.
- Experience with ETL
- Cloud database technologies or Python skills would be beneficial
