This is more than a leadership role — it’s an opportunity to shape the future of a growing manufacturing operation in the South. Our client is a well-established, privately owned manufacturing group with a long-term outlook and a strong track record of reinvesting in its people, sites and technology. Backed by a robust financial position, the business is now driving a significant transformation across part of its operations — focused on raising standards, strengthening culture, and unlocking growth potential.

The Opportunity

You will take full operational ownership of several southern sites, leading their integration, development and performance. With a clear mandate to modernise and professionalise operations, you’ll play a central role in setting the benchmark for what “good” looks like — both operationally and culturally.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end site operations, covering production, people, cost and delivery
  • Drive cultural change, creating a consistent, accountable and values-led environment
  • Improve health safety standards within high-risk manufacturing settings
  • Support investment and automation programmes to increase capability and output
  • Build scalable operational frameworks as the regional footprint expands

Why This Role Stands Out

You’ll join at a pivotal point in the organisation’s journey — working closely with a new leadership team to build a high-performing, future-ready operation. The culture is evolving towards visible, hands-on leadership where credibility on the ground matters as much as strategic thinking.

About You

You’re an experienced manufacturing leader with a track record of improving site performance and leading change. Comfortable in fast-paced, people-intensive environments, you bring a pragmatic, hands-on approach and know how to engage teams at every level. Whether you are an experienced multi-site Plant Manager or an ambitious Plant Manager with a track record of success in optimising factory performance looking to take your first step into a multi-site role, this is a newly created role to enable you to play a positive and proactive role in the ongoing development of a UK wide group growth programme.
