Nigel Wright are currently supporting a Teesside based business with their Payroll Specialist requirement. This role is initially a 6 month contract offering an immediate start. Also on offer is hybrid working (3-4 days from home).

As Payroll Specialist, you will:

  • Support the end to end processing of monthly payroll
  • Ensure payroll is accurate and processed in line with deadlines
  • Input and check payroll data including starters, leavers, and amendments
  • Handle queries from employees regarding pay, tax, and deductions
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting where required

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience within a payroll environment (end-to-end or part-process)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and legislation
  • Confident working with payroll systems and Excel
