The Opportunity: Our client, a leading logistics and infrastructure company, is seeking a skilled FP&A Analyst to join their team based in Teesside. The role offers a unique opportunity to play a key role within a vital national infrastructure business and will be suited to a strong analyst and modeller.
Main duties/responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly financial reporting and forecasting process, including preparation of management and board packs.
- Coordinate and produce board-level financial presentations and budget documentation.
- Manage the annual budgeting process, long-term and short-term cash flow forecasting, and revenue/capex forecasting.
- Monitor and report on financial risks, opportunities, and debt covenants.
- Collaborate with external finance stakeholders on financial modelling and investor presentations.
- Conduct project appraisals, including IRR and cash flow analysis.
You will be/have:
- Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience.
- Strong corporate financial modelling skills in Excel.
- Familiarity with OLAP financial reporting systems.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and advanced Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, especially in liaising with senior management and analysts.
