Are you a naturally curious analyst who enjoys turning complex data into clear, meaningful insights that influence business decisions and drive better outcomes?

Nigel Wright Group is delighted to be supporting the search for a Data Insights Analyst on behalf of an innovative and rapidly growing AI-enabled analytics business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is using advanced analytics, data science and technology to help organisations better understand customer experiences and make more informed decisions.

Operating across the UK and USA, the business has developed a market-leading SaaS platform that delivers real-time analytics and actionable insight to its customers. With continued growth and investment, the company is looking to strengthen its analytics capability and is seeking a talented Data Insights Analyst to play a key role in transforming complex data into meaningful recommendations that support both commercial and operational decision-making.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, ambitious and forward-thinking organisation where you'll have genuine ownership, visibility and the chance to make a tangible impact.

The Role

As a Data Insights Analyst, you'll help organisations answer important questions using data. Working with both internal teams and customers, you'll identify research objectives, define outcome measures, analyse complex datasets and transform your findings into compelling, actionable insights.

This is not a traditional BI or dashboarding role. Rather than producing internal KPI reporting, you'll use Python, statistics and analytical thinking to investigate customer challenges, uncover meaningful patterns and communicate findings through engaging reports, presentations and visualisations that influence decision‑making.

You'll play a highly visible role within the business, taking ownership of analytical projects from initial scoping through to final delivery, while working directly with stakeholders to ensure insights are both commercially relevant and easy to understand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with customers and stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify research questions and define meaningful outcome metrics.
  • Cleaning, transforming and preparing large datasets for analysis using Python and SQL.
  • Conducting statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, relationships and actionable insights.
  • Creating clear visualisations and customer‑facing reports that tell a compelling story with data.
  • Translating complex analytical findings into practical recommendations for non‑technical audiences.
  • Presenting findings to clients and stakeholders in a clear, engaging and accessible way.
  • Managing analytical projects from requirements gathering and methodology design through to successful delivery.
  • Applying statistical techniques, predictive analytics and, where appropriate, machine learning approaches to support decision‑making.
  • Collaborating with data engineering teams to improve data quality, collection processes and analytical capability.
  • Supporting customers in making evidence‑based decisions through insightful analysis and effective communication.

What We're Looking For

Success in this role will depend as much on your communication skills, curiosity and commercial thinking as it will on your technical capability.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems with data and who can confidently translate analytical findings into compelling stories and practical recommendations. You'll be comfortable working with large datasets, engaging directly with stakeholders and managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.

You'll thrive in a collaborative and agile culture where initiative is encouraged and where you'll have the freedom to make a genuine contribution.

We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Data Analyst, Insights Analyst or similar analytical role within a commercial environment.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience working with large cloud‑based datasets.
  • Strong statistical and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience creating reports, presentations and insight‑led recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused and intellectually curious approach.

We're also interested in candidates who may have experience with:

  • AWS and GitHub.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Remote‑first role with flexibility and autonomy.
  • Opportunity to join a fast‑growing AI and analytics business.
  • Exposure to complex, real‑world datasets and meaningful analytical challenges.
  • Strong involvement with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
  • Genuine ownership of projects from inception to delivery.
  • Excellent opportunities for career development and progression.
  • Collaborative, supportive and innovative culture.
  • Competitive salary, bonus potential and additional wellbeing benefits.
