A Finance Manager will be hired for a 6 month opportunity, with potential to lead to a permanent hire. Hybrid working. Reporting to Finance Director and managing 1-2 junior members of staff.

This is a varied role and some responsibilities include:

  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cashflow
  • Product Costing
  • Revenue recognition
  • P&L analysis
  • Oversight of balance sheet
  • Be key point of contact for Auditors
  • Margin analysis and ad hoc analysis

The business is a well established business in the Northeast.

About You

Fully Qualified Accountant is preferred, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. Candidates who are Qualified by Experience will also be considered, with relevant experience. Experience as Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant will be relevant; people management experience is not essential. Manufacturing experience would be nice to have but is not essential.

Good analytic skills and great communication skills are required. Experience of ERP's and being proficient on Excel is a must.
