Senior Financial Controller in Newcastle upon Tyne

The Company I\’m working exclusively with a global and market-leading software business to appoint a Senior Financial Controller. With a footprint spanning multiple regions and a culture of innovation and agility, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact at Group level. The Role You’ll be at the heart of Group financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across a complex, multi-entity structure. You’ll manage monthly group consolidations and annual accounts, while acting as the technical authority on IFRS and complex accounting matters. Your expertise will underpin strategic decisions during a period of transformation, acquisitions, and divestments. What you’ll do: Own the group consolidation process, delivering timely, accurate reporting. Lead on technical accounting issues Partner with Regional Controllers and Senior Stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new entities. Drive process improvements and strengthen controls in a dynamic operating environment. The Person Suitable candidates can satisfy the following: Technical Expertise: Strong IFRS knowledge. Proven consolidation experience Background: Qualified – ACA/ACCA/CIMA Sector agnostic, but prior experience of working for an international or software business is advantageous Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
