An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing, operationally focused business. This is a hands-on role offering exposure across financial reporting, analysis, and business support, working closely with both finance and operational teams. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making, while contributing to the overall financial control and governance of the business.
The Role
- Prepare monthly management accounts with clear analysis and commentary
- Deliver variance analysis to support financial performance insights
- Support month-end and year-end processes, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare VAT returns and support payroll processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Provide financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making
The Person
- 2-3 years' experience in an accounting role (ideally audit or manufacturing)
- Experience preparing management accounts
- Studying towards ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Analytical, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders across the business
