An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing, operationally focused business. This is a hands-on role offering exposure across financial reporting, analysis, and business support, working closely with both finance and operational teams. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making, while contributing to the overall financial control and governance of the business.

The Role

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with clear analysis and commentary
  • Deliver variance analysis to support financial performance insights
  • Support month-end and year-end processes, including journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Prepare VAT returns and support payroll processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Provide financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making

The Person

  • 2-3 years' experience in an accounting role (ideally audit or manufacturing)
  • Experience preparing management accounts
  • Studying towards ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders across the business
