About the Role:
I am working with a growing technology-driven organisation seeking an IT Systems Technician to support both internal teams and external clients. This is a varied, hands-on role covering IT support, systems administration, onboarding, and customer engagement within a fast-paced operational environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining systems, supporting users, onboarding new clients, and continuously improving processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT systems, software, and hardware support across the business
- Own and manage the IT Service Desk, ensuring tickets are handled efficiently
- Support system administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Onboard new clients, including system setup, data integration, and configuration
- Integrate customer platforms with internal systems
- Deliver system demonstrations and training to both internal users and customers
- Produce reports and analyse data using tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Support customer service queries related to systems and technology
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
- Create SOPs and contribute to the internal knowledge base
Skills & Responsibilities:
Essential:
- Strong general IT support skills
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure and systems
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused with a professional and confident approach
- Well organised and able to work under pressure
Desirable:
- Previous IT support experience (2+ years advantageous)
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. Freshdesk or similar)
- Exposure to e-commerce or web platforms (e.g. online selling systems)
- Experience producing reports using Power BI
- Awareness or interest in AI or automation technologies
