An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a growing finance function, supporting multiple business areas and stakeholders. This is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility for delivering accurate and timely financial information, alongside providing commercial insight to support decision-making at both operational and senior levels. You’ll work closely with leadership teams, acting as a key finance contact while also leading and developing a small team.

The Role Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including variance analysis
  • Lead month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Produce statutory accounts and support audit processes
  • Manage cashflow forecasting and treasury activities
  • Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure compliance
  • Provide financial analysis and insight to senior stakeholders
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Oversee sales and purchase ledgers, including debt management
  • Report on capital expenditure and project performance
  • Drive improvements across finance systems, processes and reporting
  • Line manage and develop a small finance team
