You'll play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, improving asset integrity and supporting transformational engineering initiatives that are key to significant business growth potential.
The role As Mechanical Engineer, you'll provide hands-on engineering support across a complex production environment, working closely with operations and maintenance teams to keep plant assets operating safely, efficiently and compliantly.
This is a newly created position driven by increased project activity, plant improvements and long-term business growth.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting asset integrity and lifecycle management activities.• Specifying and delivering plant repairs, modifications and equipment replacements.
Providing higher level technical expertise to support a highly capable site based maintenance team.
- Contributing to complex asset repairs and mechanical integrity programmes.• Supporting shutdown planning and execution activities.• Driving reliability improvements across plant assets.• Managing inspection and statutory compliance requirements.• Collaborating with inspection bodies, insurers and specialist engineering partners, alongside operations, maintenance, safety and the wider engineering team.
