You’ll be working as part of a small but experienced marketing team, supporting the delivery of campaigns, coordinating events, and creating content that engages diverse audiences and drives real-world impact.
This newly created role offers variety, autonomy, and a genuine chance to grow. As Marketing Assistant, you’ll support day-to-day marketing activity across digital, print, PR, and events. You’ll play a key part in promoting projects, engaging with stakeholders, and championing the company’s mission to deliver social, environmental, and economic value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver marketing campaigns across digital, paid social, print, and email channels
- Manage and grow organic social media presence
- Assist in planning and attending exhibitions, community consultations, and trade events
- Create compelling content including press releases, social media posts, and website updates
- Support stakeholder engagement and brand consistency across all platforms
- Contribute to team planning sessions and bring fresh ideas to the table
- Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery
YOUR SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
You’ll be a motivated and creative marketer, keen to get stuck in and contribute to a meaningful mission. A strong communicator with a collaborative approach, you’ll be confident managing multiple tasks and willing to travel to support the wider marketing and engagement programme.
What You’ll Bring:
- 1–2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role
- Experience in organic and paid social media, digital advertising and/or content creation
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with others across teams
- A passion for sustainability, energy, and community-focused work
- A hands-on approach and a willingness to support events and stakeholder activity
- A UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK (including overnight stays approx. twice per month)
