The Business
We are partnering with a fast growing business recruiting a recent or upcoming graduate to join the finance team in Trainee Management Accountant role. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build a long-term career in finance, with full support to study towards the CIMA qualification.
The Role
- Reporting into the CFO and Financial Controller, duties include:
- Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Learn and apply double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Work with internal stakeholders across the business
- Contribute to month-end processes and reconciliations
- Develop knowledge of accounting standards, requirements, and policies
Person
- Education
- A 2:1 or above in Accounting & Finance (or a related degree)
- Strong technical understanding of accounting principles from your degree
- Academic Background
- A Levels: Minimum AAB
- GCSEs: At least 8 grades 6–9, including Grade 7+ in Maths and English
Experience
- Some prior experience within a finance function (e.g. placement year, internship) is desirable
