Job Description

The OrganisationA multi-academy trust is seeking two proactive and experienced Management Accountants to join its central finance team on a 6 month basis. These roles have been created to support increased workload and the implementation of a new finance system and budgeting software.You’ll be responsible for the financial management, reporting, and compliance across the trust, working closely with senior leaders and governors. The Role
  • Monthly management accounts and financial reporting
  • Budget preparation and medium-term financial planning
  • Business partnering effectively with budget holders 
  • Supporting audits and compliance
  • Contributing to change initiatives and systems implementation

What we’re looking for

  • Ideally fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW)
  • Strong Excel and systems experience 
  • Proven experience in month-end, change management, and picking up varied tasks quickly
  • A go-getter attitude with openness and honesty
  • Ability to integrate well into a collaborative team
  • Education sector experience is a plus
